Plainfield
Plainfield Elementary School's 3rd, 4th and 5th graders twisted and shouted to "The Music of the Beatles" this week.
Music and Drama Teacher Ms. Wubbena said the students spent time in music class over the last several weeks learning to sing the music of the Beatles.
The students were also responsible for setting up the instruments and other materials they used during the musical.
She said they also learned about the lives of the Fab Four and the stories behind the songs they wrote.
They sang an array of their popular songs, including "Help," "Yellow Submarine," "Twist & Shout," "Hey Jude" and "Blackbird."
Students were in charge of writing the script, playing the instruments, speaking and dancing.
They performed the concert for the entire school during the day and treated their family and friends to an evening concert.
Ms. Wubbena said they did an amazing job!
