Showcasing Sounds and Movements in Drama Class

Plainfield
Plainfield Elementary School fifth graders in Ms. Wubbena's drama class were tasked this week with creating sounds and also movements to go along with those sounds.
The students first split up into groups and had fifteen minutes to come up with their unique sounds, movements and the timing of those movements.
After fifteen minutes, Ms. Wubbena called the groups one by one to perform for the class.
Each group came up with different sounds and movements and unique ways of presenting them.
One group used a huddle to showcase their sounds and their connected movements.
Another group started off in a line and their sounds and movements moved in a specific order.
Ms. Wubbena recorded their performances and next week the students will have a chance to review them and reflect on what they might do differently.
The students enjoyed working together to create a unique performance for the rest of the class!
