Plainfield
In celebration of World Kindness Day on November 13, Plainfield Elementary School's Kindness Champions (last year’s Kindness Ambassadors) joined this year’s Kindness Ambassadors to spread kindness throughout the school.
The day started with the champions and ambassadors receiving their kindness t-shirts.
They then went over how they were going to lead their class in kindness activities for the special day.
When the kindness ambassadors went back to their classrooms they read a short paragraph to their classmates about the history of World Kindness Day and why it's an important day to celebrate.
The students walked around the classroom and shared with a partner a time when someone was kind to them and how that made them feel.
All of the students also received a sticker and a magnet.
The students took time to write words of kindness on their magnets, which they then put on their lockers in the hallway.
At the end of the day all of the school’s hallways were lined with lockers filled with words of kindness!
