Sunday Concert Series at Prairie Lakes Theater
A Des Plaines tradition for over 35 years, the Community Concert Band has a vast repertoire that includes classics, great Sousa marches, contemporary concert band standards, the latest pop favorites, and movie scores.
The band is actively seeking members for most sections.

We supply LEGOs and a theme, you supply the imagination! Children under 8, please bring your caregiver.
Registration required beginning February 17th by calling 847-376-2839 or visiting the Youth Services Desk. An adult must be in attendance with children under 8.
For children of all ages. Pick up a Stuffed Animal Workshop kit to stuff a cuddly adopted elephant at home!
This program is limited to Des Plaines residents only.
Registration is required for each child you will be picking up a kit for. Supplies are limited. Register by visiting or calling the Youth Services desk at 847-376-2839 beginning Monday, February 17th at 9 am.
Pickup will begin Wednesday, February 26th at 9 am.
Come to this taste-test to try different and unusual snacks.
You can taste things blind or with eyes wide open but either way you will be surprised by what awaits you.

Youth soccer offers many benefits, including improved physical fitness (cardiovascular health, strength, and agility), social skills (teamwork, communication, and friendships), and mental health benefits (confidence and stress relief). It teaches valuable life skills like discipline, time management, and resilience while fostering cognitive development through strategic thinking and decision-making. Soccer promotes cultural understanding and inclusion while helping kids establish long-term healthy habits.

We will meet monthly to relax and make something cool.

Need a fun activity to start your Holi celebration? Join us for a dance class led by the talented Keenna Salwan of Rani Dance Co.
This class is open to children ages 5-12.
